The Öland pedal is a version of BYOC’s Leed Fuzz. Öland has a tone knob that can set the tone, anywhere between very sharp to very much bass. It’s really a pedal with windmill references or as BYOC describes the matter:

“If you’ve ever played a Superfuzz, then you know that Pete did not come up with the idea of doing windmills … .. the pedal made him do it.” .

What one thinks that a Leeds Fuzz original is missing is a tone control. You can try changing capacitors to get more of the sound you are looking for. We added a Moody Tone kit to Öland and with it you can adjust the tone response exactly how you want it. And still keep the massive sound foundation of Leeds Fuzz circuit.
