Lehle bypass modul (inkapslad)

Fixa klickfri och mjuk äkta bypass med Lehle’s bypass modul! Den går att installera i stort sett alla våra pedal-kits. För att byta till Lehle bypass behöver du, förutom modulen, en momentan, normalt öppen (NO) switch exempelvis den här.

Modulen kan köras i tre olika modes:

1. “Latching bypass”, samma som med en mekanisk 3pdt, det vill säga pedalen byter läge när man trycker och stannar sedan i detta läge.
2. Momentan bypass. Pedalen stannar i effektläge så länge knappen hålls intryckt.
3. Kombinerad bypass. Med ett snabbt knapptryck har man latching bypass. Ett långt tryck är momentan bypass.

Man byter mode genom att dra ur strömkabeln, hålla knappen intryckt, sätta i strömkabeln och släppa knappen efter 1, 2 eller tre lysdiod-blink motsvarade mode 1, 2, 3. Mer utförligt beskrivet i databladet, se nedan.

Så att Lehle’s modul ökar verkligen möjligheterna med pedalerna. I latching mode har man som vi redan påpekat, ett riktigt mjuk och klickfritt lägesbyte. Reläet, som styr kretsen är dessutom snabbt, och man hör inte någon tystnad då bytet sker. Momentan bypass ger såklart bättre möjligheter att styra när pedalen ska vara aktiv.

För att kunna utföra installationen måste man ta reda på vart pedalens plus- och minuspol finns. Man måste även ta reda på vart signalen går in och ut ur kretsen. Ladda ner modulens datablad samt pdf som beskriver installationen av modulen i en Moody Drive, länkade till här nedan.

The LEHLE MODULE SW is a true bypass switching unit with relay and an active pop suppression function controlled by an intelligent microcontroller circuit. Thereby allowing the LEHLE MODULE SW to switch even faster than mechanical switches, noise-free and without wear. In combination with the LEHLE SWITCH BTN it is the perfect replacement for the standard 3PDT latching switch, which can be unreliable and noisy.

The size of the module is smaller than a 9-volt battery – so if it’s used as true bypass unit, it can be easily placed in the battery compartment of an effects pedal. The LEHLE MODULE SW can also be used to switch between two instruments with one amp, or vice versa, between two ampswith one instrument.

The three operating modes make the LEHLE MODULE SW work as either a latching or momentary switch, allowing for short or rhythmic stutter-effects.
