LPB stands for Linear Power Booster. It’s a very simple Silicon transistor boost. EHX probably wasn’t the first to design it, but they were the first to market it to guitar players. Great boost for pushing your amp into overdrive. Fairly gritty. Lots of low end. This module really excels at being used as a pre-gain to push the Crown Jewel’s main drive channel into high gain distortion.
